Happy Halloween!
My favorite decoration is a large, colorful banner with art by Mary Engelbreit. It shows a kid dressed up like a fortune-teller with her crystal ball. Other little “goblins” are gathered ‘round to hear what she has to say.
At the bottom is a quote by Peter Drucker, which reads:
“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Although sometimes things can sound pretty scary on the evening news, it’s good to keep this quote in mind.
AND it’s especially good to be busy working to create something good for the future of mankind.
Yes, I think creativity is the Higgs Boson of humanity. Creativity is perceived as divine and mysterious, occasionally peeking through ordinary haze we call reality. In reality, however, creativity is all around us all the time and tapped properly, gives form and substance to our lives, more or less for free. Creativity cannot be nor should be commoditized.
Thanks for this intriguing thought! The Higgs Boson is truly fascinating and
hot wires our minds to think of possibilities. With creativity leading the way, there are simply no limits.
